I like pulp in my orange juice and long walks on the beach. I’m working on improving my sleep schedule. Despite my name, I don’t speak any French.
I’m also a writer. Fiction, mostly, though I dabble in journalism and craft essays. I lead the NC Triad Chapter of the national writing non-profit, Women Who Submit.
I received my MFA from UNCG Greensboro. I’m an alum of Clarion UCSD, the Kenyon and Tin House Summer Workshop and AWP’s Writer to Writer program. My work has been supported by the Clarion Foundation, the Kenyon Scholarship fund, and the Clonginger-Stout Family Scholarship.
